The oldest beech forest in Europe will not only bring joy to the eyes, but will keep the body cool and sheltered from summers’ heat. We could enjoy a short session of ‘forest bathing’ here, this is a nice way of regathering, enjoying the present moment and taking in what’s been done and observed, in preparation of what is yet to come. Once we reach the higher plains, option to take the chairlift to the top or carry on by foot - when on the peak, we'll embrace the breathtaking views and the majestic cross, monument that was built in the year 1900 as a celebration of Redemption. Lunch will be served in the cosy little hut there, and will be based on local, traditional dishes; a good couple of hours are considered for our lunch break. After, we make our way downhill, crossing the forest again and making our way towards the cars.
